The theater aerial delivery company is an aerial lift and delivery asset tied to theater sustainment, so it belongs under the Theater Sustainment Command. The TSC coordinates all sustainment functions for the theater, including aerial delivery capabilities, and positions specialized units to support distribution and air drop operations across the area of operations. Being located in the Joint Security Area provides the forward, secured hub needed for these air delivery missions to reach units quickly and effectively. That combination—under the TSC and located in the JSA—best fits how theater-wide aerial delivery is organized and deployed. The other options don’t align with the command relationship or forward aerial delivery node appropriate for this unit.
